How to Configure GMX Email Account On iPhone?

As a GMX Mail user you can not only access your email account as a webmail but also you can configure it on your Email client, Android or iOS device. Setting it up on your Mobile device allows you to have access to your email on the going, without any need to sign in again and again to check emails. If you are using an iOS device such as iPhone, you can follow the below-given instructions to set up your GMX Account on iPhone.

Steps to Set up GMX Mail account on iPhone

1.) On your iPhone, tap on the Settings app icon.

2.) Under Settings section, tap on the Mail, Contacts and Calendars option.

3.) Next, you will need to tap on the Add account option and select Other.

4.) Now, tap on the Add Mail Account option and enter the information as mentioned herein below.

• Name: Enter your name
• Email: Enter your GMX Mail email-address
• Password: Enter your GMX Mail email-password
• Description: Enter “GMX Mail”

5.) Then, select the IMAP option under the “Incoming mail server” and enter the following information:

• Hostname:gmx.com
• Username: Enter your email address
• Password: Enter your email account password

6.) After that, tap on the Save option and select your email address on the next screen.

7.) Next, scroll down and go to “Outgoing mail server” section and select SMTP.

8.) Under the Main server, select smtp.gmx.com and check for the following information on the screen.

• SSL: None
• Server port: 25

9.) Then, tap on the Done option and go back to the previous screen. Select Advanced option and check for the following information on your screen:

• SSL: SSL
• Server port:gmx.com

10.) After that, go back to the previous screen and restart your iPhone to complete the setup.
