5 Steps to Set Up iCloud Email on Android

1.) On your Android device, tap on the Settings app icon and select Accounts option from the list.

2.) Under the Accounts section, tap on the Add account option located at the bottom of the screen.

3.) Tap on the Email option (if any) and select Personal (IMAP) option located next to the Gmail icon. If you select the Gmail option, Gmail will automatically identify your iCloud address and attempt to import correct server settings.

4.) However, if you select the Email option, you will need to add the server settings manually as provided below:

Incoming mail server

  • Server name:mail.me.com
  • SSL required: Yes
  • Port: 993
  • Username: The initial name portion of your iCloud email address. For example if it [email protected], you will need to enter just the “xyz” part.
  • Password:Enter your iCloud email address password. If you want, you can also choose to generate an app password.

Outgoing mail server

  • Server name:mail.me.com
  • SSL Required: Yes
  • Port: 587
  • SMTP Authentication Required: Yes
  • Username: Enter your complete iCloud email address(along with the @icloud.com part)
  • Password: Enter the same password which you used in the incoming mail server section, be it your original or the app password you generated.

5.) After that, tap on the Next or Continue or similar option to complete the configuration process.

NOTE: If you see an error message in the SSL required section (Incoming or Outgoing mail server), try clearing the error using TSL option.
