How To Setup GMX Mail Account On Android?

GMX Mail is available not only as a webmail service but can also be used on email client and mobile device via IMAP and POP protocol. Steps to Setup GMX Mail Account on Android Device

1.) On your Android device, tap on the Settings app icon.

2.) Under the Settings menu, tap on the Accounts option.

3.) Under Accounts section, tap on the Personal (IMAP) option.

4.) You will need to enter your GMX email address on the next screen and tap on the Next button. Wait until you are directed to the next screen.

NOTE: If prompted to tap Next again, do so.

5.) Next, enter your password and tap on the Sign in button.

6.) Then, under the Incoming server settings, enter the following:

  • Username: Enter your username
  • Password: Enter your password
  • Incoming server:gmx.com
  • Incoming port: 993
  • Security type: SSL

7.) For Outgoing server settings, enter the following information:

  • Outgoing server:gmx.com
  • Outgoing port: 25
  • Security type: none
  • Authorisation required: Yes
  • Username: enter your email address
  • Password: Enter your email account’s password

8.) After that, simply follow the on-screen instructions to complete the GMZ configuration process on your Android device. Your GMX account will get set up on your Android device successfully.
