How Yandex.Mail POP Access Works?

When using your Yandex.Mail POP3 with Outlook on your computer, you will be able to download emails from your Yandex account on your computer. If you would have not set filters with your Outlook account to store emails in a separate folder, your incoming emails will be stored in Inbox folder only.

Apart from downloading a copy of the email, POP3 configuration lets Yandex.Mail users keep a copy of the email on its server as well. When you delete an email on your Outlook (after configuring Yandex.Mail in it), it does not affect the copy of email saved on Yandex.Mail server. To delete email from the server, you will need to open the web interface of Yandex.Mail.
