2 Important Ways to Activate EBT Edge card

Your EBT Edge card has arrived. It needs to be activated before you could start using it and enjoy all the benefits your Electronic Benefits Transfer card has to offer. There are two ways to activate the EBT Edge card – via online and by phone. Check the steps to ebtedge.com activate card.

Check the steps below to activate your EBT Edge card.

• You need to access the official EBT Edge website or just click on this link – www.ebtedge.com/activate.
• On the left-hand side, you will see a link that says “Cardholder Login”.
• You need to enter the 16-digit card number in the right field.
• Now, click on the Login button.
• If you see the option “PIN Select” in the green stripe, click on it.
• Next, you will be prompted to enter your Date of Birth (DOB). Make sure the format is well-maintained, i.e. mm/dd/yyyy. You may have to use the tab key to move between fields.
• You must be ready with your SSN and choose 4 numbers as your PIN.
• Confirm the PIN by retyping the PIN and click on the “Update” button.

Your card is activated and should be ready to use now. In case you couldn’t carry out the task or bump into some technical error, consider calling on the customer care number.

Activate EBT Edge Card by Calling

Dial the authorized number and get your card activated within no time. You will thoroughly be assisted by certified personnel if need be. Make sure you are ready with your card and keep certain details like your DOB, PIN, SSN, etc.

• After your card has arrived, take it out of the envelope to find the number on the back of the card.
• You need to dial 1-865-545-6502 and carefully listen to the automated system.
• Choose your preferred language – press 1 if you wish to speak in English or 2 for Spanish.
• Next, you need to enter the 16 digits card number. (The numbers should be mentioned on the front of your card.)
• Next, you need to press 4 to create or set up the PIN.
• You will have to enter your Date of Birth. Note the format – mm/dd/yyyy.
• If prompted, enter your Social Security Number and select 4 numbers as your PIN.
• Re-enter the PIN to confirm.

You have successfully activated your card.

How to Access Your EBT Edge Account – Steps to Sign up and Sign in

In this section, we will talk about the steps to register for an EBT Edge account and sign in using the credentials.

To Register –

• Click here to access the official sign-up page.
• Here, you need to render certain details to create a user profile. Make sure you are entering details correctly.
• Enter your “User ID”.
• Choose a suitable, strong “Password”.
• To confirm, re-enter the password.
• Provide your First Name and Last Name.
• Next, enter your Email Address and Phone Number.
• Click on the “Register” button.

This should complete creating an account with Electronic Benefits Transfer card.

To Sign in –

• Click here to access the log-in page.
• Enter your “User ID”.
• Enter “Password”
• Click on the “Login” button.

If you have issues signing into your EBT Edge card account, access the page here and select the options such as “Unlock UserID”, “Forgot UserID”, or “Forgot Password”.

• If you choose “Forgot Password”, you need to enter the “User ID”.
• Then, stick to the online prompts to retrieve the password.
• If you choose “Forgot UserID”, you need to register for a new userID by clicking on the “Register” option.
• Follow on-screen prompts to complete the process.
• If you choose “Unlock UserID”, you need to enter the “User ID”.
