How to Activate TCM on the www.tcm.com /activate Page?

TCM, short for Turner Classic Movies, is a popular streaming service in the US. Owned by Comcast, the TCM streaming service allows users to get access to classic themed movies and can be accessed easily as an app on streaming devices such as Roku, Fire TV, and Apple TV. If you wish to access the TCM app on these devices, you will first need to install the app from the relevant application store of your streaming device, and then activate it on the tcm.com/activate page. To know how to activate TCM, follow the instructions provided below.

Activating TCM on the tcm.com/activate Page

Apple TV

• From the home screen of your Apple TV, navigate to the App Store and find the TCM application using the search option.
• When you locate the TCM app in the App Store, you will need to install it on your Apple TV.
• When the app gets installed on your Apple TV, launch the application and sign in to your TCM account. Once you will be logged into your TCM app, you will be provided an activation code along with instructions on your screen.

• Now, you will need to launch a web browser on your computer or phone and go to the tcm.com/activate page.

Amazon Fire TV

• Go to the home screen of your Amazon Fire TV and go to the Find option. In the search box, enter TCM in the provided field and press the search button.
• Next, select the TCM app from the search result and press the Free or Download option.
• Once you have installed the TCM application on your Fire TV, open it and sign in to your account.
• Once you will be logged into the application, you will be provided an activation code on your screen.

• Once you have the activation code, open the tcm.com/activate URL on your computer or phone web browser to get to the activation page.

• Select your streaming device from the given options on the activation page. Doing so will take you to the next page.
• Then, enter the activation code in the prompted field and press the Submit button.
• After that, simply follow the on-screen prompts to complete the activation process.

• Once you have successfully activated the TCM app, you can watch it on your Fire TV.

Roku

• Go to the Home screen of your Roku device and scroll down to select the Streaming Channels section.
• From the Streaming Channels section, go to the Roku Channel Store to find the TCM app. You can use the search option to find the TCM channel.
• Once you locate the application, go to its preview page and press the Add Channel option to install the app on your Roku device.
• Once you are done installing the TCM app on your Roku device, return to the home screen and launch the application. If prompted to log in to the TCM account, do so to get the activation code.
• Now, open a web browser on your phone or computer and type tcm.com/activate in the address bar to get to the activation page.
• Select your streaming device from the given options on the activation page. This will take you to the next page.
• Then, enter the activation code in the prompted field on the next page and press the Submit button.
• After you are done activating the TCM app, you will be able to access it on your Roku device.
