How to Change Uplay Account Email Address?

Uplay is a well known multiplayer, communications, digital distribution, digital rights management service provided by Ubisoft to the users. The objective of this service is to provide a similar experience (achievements and trophies) offered by different other game companies. The service can be availed across various platforms and is focused exclusively on the first-party games developed and managed by Ubisoft.

While there are third-party games sold on the Uplay store, they don’t use the Uplay platform. There are numerous ways you can register for Uplay services, such as Email, Facebook, Twitch, Sony Playstation, and Microsoft Account. Although users generally don’t face issues with the Uplay service, some users struggle to change their email sometimes. Guide to Change your Uplay Email

NOTE: As Uplay is a part of Ubisoft, the below mentioned instructions to change Uplay Email are according to your Ubisoft account.

1. Open a web browser on your computer and sign in to your Ubisoft account.

2. Once you are logged into your Ubisoft account, you will need to go to the Account Information section.

3. In the Account Information section, you will need to click on the Edit button. You will find this option located under the Private information section.

4. Now you will need to click on the Change option located next to your email address displayed on the screen. Doing so will send an email with instructions to your email address.

5. So, sign in to your email account where you would have received the email. Open the email from Ubisoft and click on the link provided in it.

6. Then, follow the instructions and enter the new email address in the provided fields. Then, click on the Change button.

7. Complete the process by following the further on-screen instructions (if any) to quickly change the email of your Uplay account.

NOTE: It should be noted that this email can’t be linked to a current Ubisoft account.

8. After that, you should be able to see your new email address in the Private information section.

Unable to Access Your Current Email Account Associated With Your Ubisoft Account?

• If you are unable to sign in to the email account associated with your Ubisoft account currently, you will need to Contact Ubisoft (http://support.ubi.com/Cases/new?method=email) to complete the process of changing your email address.
• To let Ubisoft help you process the email address changing request, you will need to provide Addition Information* in your Support Case (https://support.ubisoft.com/Cases).

• In case you are playing on PC, make sure to provide a valid Proof of Purchase for any of the PC games activated on your account.
• In case you are playing only on your Console, make sure to provide a clear picture of being logged into the console profile associated with your Ubisoft account. You may also need to provide a screenshot of your console profile being signed into the Account Management website (Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo) of your platform.
• In addition to the above, make sure that you provide your new email address.  And, it should be noted that this email will not be allowed to get linked to an existing Ubisoft account.

To submit a support ticket or conduct a live chat, follow these steps:

1. Open a web browser on your computer and go to this page (https://support.ubi.com/en-US/Cases/new?method=email&template=changerequestemail) to submit an email support ticket or to begin a live chat. Make sure to fill in the required information prompted in the How can we help you? section.

2. After providing the required information in the relevant fields, you will need to scroll down and press the Submit My Case option if you wish to create an email support ticket. In case you wish to begin a live chat, you will need to click on the Submit & Start Chat button instead.
