How to Set Up Cox Email Account on iPhone?

Apart from accessing your Cox email account on the desktop web browser, you can also access your Cox email account through your mobile device whether it is Android or iPhone. Steps to Configure Cox Email Account on iPhone

Auto-Configuration Process

1. Tap on the Settings app on your iPhone.
2. Once you are on the Settings screen, you will need to tap on the Passwords & Accounts option.
3. Next, you will need to tap on the Add Account.
4. Once you are on the Add Account screen, tap on the Other option and then on the Add Mail Account.
5. On the New Account screen, you will need to enter the following information.

• Name
• Cox Email Address
• Password
• Description

1. Tap on the Next button and then tap on the Save button. Your account will be configured on the iPhone.

Manual Process

1. Go to the Settings section on your iPhone or iPad. Once you are on the Settings screen, you will need to tap on the Accounts & Passwords option.
2. Next, you will need to tap on the Add Account option.
3. Once you are on the Add Account screen, you will need to tap on the Other option.
4. Then, tap on the Add Mail Account and enter the following information in the New Account screen. After that, tap on the Next button.

• Name
• Cox Email Address
• Password
• Description

Result: Here, your device verifies your account and will try to set it up automatically with IMAP server settings.

1. Now, tap on the Save button. This will display the Accounts & Passwords screen where you will need to complete the following steps.

• Enter the new Cox Email account name.
• Enter the new Cox Email address.

1. Next, you will need to update the below-mentioned field on the Account screen, under Incoming Mail Server.

• Host Name: Your incoming mail server. Refer to Email Server Settings to confirm server names.
• User Name: The first part of your Cox Email address without the @cox.net.
• Password: Your Cox Email password.

1. Then, in the Outgoing Mail Server section, tap on the SMTP option. In the SMTP screen, you will need to tap smtp.cox.net, then update the following information as required:

• Host Name: Your outgoing mail server. Refer to Email Server Settings to confirm server names.
• User Name: The first part of your Cox Email address without the @cox.net.
• Password: Your Cox Email password.

Note: Although the User Name and Password fields may appear to be optional, they are important to send Cox.net email on your device.

1. After that. Tap on the Done button and then in the SMTP screen, tap on the Account > Done option.
